Вильгельм Вурм (1826–1904) — солист оркестра Мариинского театра, профессор Петербургской консерватории, был автором многочисленных этюдов, до сих пор составляющих основу петербургской школы.

Wilhelm Wurm (1826–1904), the soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre, professor of the Petersburg Conservatoire. The etudes belonging to his hand are still considered to be the base of the St Petersburg school.
All the material for this publication was taken from the collection of S. B. Bolotin (1912–1994), famous Petersburgian trumpeter, teacher and composer.
