Carelia is a cultural magazine in the Finnish language. The magazine offers works of prose and poetry by Karelians and Finns, Finnish translations by contemporary Russian writers, writings and dissertations about life, history and culture in Karelia, as well as memoirs of Ingrian people. The magazine has been published since 1928.
The 100th anniversary of the Republic of Karelia is the theme of fresh issue, published in April 2020. The writings and interviews of the magazine tell in many ways about the stages, present day and prospects of Karelia. The issue begins with an interview given to Carelia by the Head of the Republic of Karelia Artur Parfentshikov. The issue contains copies of Karelian-themed works by well-known visual artists.
