Founded in 1992.
The Journal is mainly a forum for zoologists working in Russia and neighbouring countries. It is published in English and focuses on descriptions of new taxa, taxonomic revisions, synonymic notes, phylogenetic reconstructions, and most interesting new faunistic records in all groups of animals from all parts of the world.

Международный научный журнал, публикующий статьи по всем аспектам зоологической систематики, всем группам животных, как рецентных, так и вымерших, со всего мира. Номера журнала публикуются в конце июня и конце декабря.
