The educational discipline "Conducting practice" is profiling in the preparation of the brass band leader. It accumulates knowledge and skills acquired by students as a result of studying the disciplines of the general music cycle. The purpose of studying the subject is to master students by means and methods of controlling the orchestra. The following tasks follow from the goal: to help the student to master the methodology of independent work on the score; Prepare the student for independent activity as a conductor; To expand the orchestral repertoire for practical work of the student; To promote the development of the pedagogical and organizational abilities of the student. The works included in the textbook are designed for the average composition of the brass band. They should contribute to the development of students' musical thinking, as well as creative independence. For successful conductor practice, the authors of the textbook recommend a detailed study of the score: to study the composition of the orchestra, the construction of instruments; To think over the formation of the performance plan; Do an analysis of the melodic-harmonic language; Make a ladotonal and dynamic plan; To study strokes, phrasing and orchestration in general; Check and correct the orchestral voices on the score. The Reader is called upon to provide substantial assistance in studying the repertoire for conducting practice, both in classroom sessions with the teacher, and in the process of independent work of students. Нотное издание. Данная хрестоматия предполагает оказать существенную помощь студентам в изучении предмета "Дирижерская практика". Учебная дисциплина "Дирижерская практика" является профилирующей в подготовке руководителя духового оркестра. Она аккумулирует знания и навыки, приобретенные студентами в результате изучения дисциплин общемузыкального цикла. В процессе обучения студентам раскрывается роль дирижера как художника-исполнителя, как просветителя и пропагандиста музыкального искусства. Целью изучения предмета является овладения студентами средствами и методами управления оркестром. Из поставленной цели вытекают следующие задачи: помочь студенту овладеть методикой самостоятельной работы над партитурой; подготовить студента к самостоятельной деятельности в качестве дирижера; расширить оркестровый репертуар для практической работы студента; способствовать развитию педагогических и организаторских способностей студента. Произведения, включенные в хрестоматию, рассчитаны на средний состав духового оркестра. Они должны способствовать развитию у студентов музыкального мышления, а также творческой самостоятельности. Для успешного осуществления дирижерской практики авторы хрестоматии рекомендуют детальное изучения партитуры: изучить состав оркестра, строи инструментов; продумать формирование исполнительского замысла; сделать анализ мелодико-гармонического языка; составить ладотональный и динамический план; изучить штрихи, фразировку и оркестровую фактуру в целом; проверить и откорректировать оркестровые голоса по партитуре. Хрестоматия призвана оказать существенную помощь в изучении репертуара для дирижерской практики как в классных занятиях с преподавателем, так и в процессе самостоятельной работы студентов. Решая вопросы методики работы с духовым оркестром, предполагаемая хрестоматия даст определенный импульс преподавателям в организации творческой работы на высоком педагогическом уровне, а студентам, помимо решения ряда технических проблем, даст возможность сократить время на поиски необходимых произведений для практической работы с оркестром. Большинство произведений аранжированы и инструментованы авторами хрестоматии. Они вполне доступны для работы в творческих коллективах, для исполнения на концертной эстраде.
