Сборник документов "Россия и независимость Финляндии: 1899-1920 гг." является результатом совместной работы финских и российских историков. В нем публикуется 1358 документов (более 42 % предстают перед читателем впервые) из ГА РФ, РГИА, РГАСПИ, РГАЭ, РГАВМФ, РГВА, из архивов МИДа - АВПРИ и АВП РФ, Архива Президента Российской Федерации и Национального архива Финляндии. Вкладки содержат 130 фотодокументов (среди них около 70 портретов политических деятелей России и Финляндии), большинство из собраний финских музеев. Научное издание снабжено обширным научно-справочным аппаратом и приложениями.
Первый том сборника документов охватывает период от реформ губернатора Н.И. Бобрикова, вызвавших массовые протесты, до изменения правового статуса Великого княжества Финляндского в составе Российской империи. В сборнике представлены не только новые документы, раскрывающие позицию российского правительства и Сейма Финляндии, но и новые сюжеты: работа комиссий Государственного совета по Финляндии, формирование нового механизма управления окраиной России, разработка в Финляндии новой "Формы правления" в 1906-1907 гг. и др. Основу сборника составили документы ГА РФ, РГИА и Финляндского национального архива.
The collection of documents "Russia and the independence of Finland: 1899-1920" is the result of the joint work of Finnish and Russian historians. It contains 1358 documents (more than 42 %, appear for the first time in public) from the State Archives of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Historical Archive, the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History, The Russian State Archive of the Military Sea Fleet, the Russian State Military Archive, as well as from the archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - the Archive of the Russian Empire Foreign Policy and the Archive of the Foreign Policy of the Russian Federation, the Presidential Archive of the Russian Federation and the National Archives of Finland. The tabs contain 130 photographic documents (including about 70 portraits of political figures of Russia and Finland), most of the collections of Finnish museums. The scientific publication is equipped with an extensive scientific and reference apparatus and applications.
The first volume of the collection covers the period from the reforms of the governor N.I. Bobrikov, which caused massive protests, up to the change in the legal status of the Grand Duchy of Finland within the Russian Empire. The collection contains not only new documents revealing the position of the Russian government and the Seimas of Finland, but also new subjects: the work of the State Council commissions for Finland, the formation of a new mechanism for managing the Russian outskirts, the development of a new "Form of Government" in Finland in 1906-1907 and others. The collection is based on documents of the State Archive of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Historical Archive and the Finnish National Archive.
Sbornik dokumentov "Rossija i nezavisimost Finljandii: 1899-1920 gg." javljaetsja rezultatom sovmestnoj raboty finskikh i rossijskikh istorikov. V nem publikuetsja 1358 dokumentov (bolee 42 % predstajut pered chitatelem vpervye) iz GA RF, RGIA, RGASPI, RGAE, RGAVMF, RGVA, iz arkhivov MIDa - AVPRI i AVP RF, Arkhiva Prezidenta Rossijskoj Federatsii i Natsionalnogo arkhiva Finljandii. Vkladki soderzhat 130 fotodokumentov (sredi nikh okolo 70 portretov politicheskikh dejatelej Rossii i Finljandii), bolshinstvo iz sobranij finskikh muzeev. Nauchnoe izdanie snabzheno obshirnym nauchno-spravochnym apparatom i prilozhenijami.
Pervyj tom sbornika dokumentov okhvatyvaet period ot reform gubernatora N.I. Bobrikova, vyzvavshikh massovye protesty, do izmenenija pravovogo statusa Velikogo knjazhestva Finljandskogo v sostave Rossijskoj imperii. V sbornike predstavleny ne tolko novye dokumenty, raskryvajuschie pozitsiju rossijskogo pravitelstva i Sejma Finljandii, no i novye sjuzhety: rabota komissij Gosudarstvennogo soveta po Finljandii, formirovanie novogo mekhanizma upravlenija okrainoj Rossii, razrabotka v Finljandii novoj "Formy pravlenija" v 1906-1907 gg. i dr. Osnovu sbornika sostavili dokumenty GA RF, RGIA i Finljandskogo natsionalnogo arkhiva.
