Издание "Антология русской светской хоровой музыки a cappella XIX — начала XX века" представляет собой учебное пособие по предмету "История русской хоровой музыки" и предназначено для студентов дирижерско-хоровых отделений консерваторий, музыкальных училищ, вузов культуры.
Антология состоит из 20 выпусков. Каждый выпуск посвящен творчеству одного из тех композиторов, которые сыграли наиболее важную роль в становлении и развитии русской хоровой музыки. Уникальность издания состоит в том, что в нем представлены все светские хоровые произведения а сарреllа этих композиторов, включая те, которые не переиздавались с дореволюционных времен или не издавались вовсе.
Каждый выпуск открывается вступительной статьей, в которой рассказывается об особенностях хорового творчества композитора. В совокупности эти очерки, расположенные в хронологическом порядке, составляют один из разделов курса лекций по предмету "История русской хоровой музыки". Завершается выпуск приложением, включающим в себя полные поэтические тексты в их оригинальном виде. К сборнику прилагается диск, содержащий аудиозапись всех опубликованных в нем хоровых произведений. Запись осуществлена Петербургским камерным хором под управлением заслуженного деятеля искусств России Николая Корнева.
Издание русской светской хоровой музыки a cappella в таком виде и объеме осуществляется впервые.

The publication “Anthology. The Russian Secular Choir Music a Cappella. XIX — early XX” is the educational aid on the subject “History of the Russian Choir Music” intended for the students of the choir-conducting departments at the conservatoires, music colleges and art institutes.
The Anthology consists of twenty issues, every one of which is devoted correspondingly to the composers, having made profound contribution to the Russian choral music. The collection may be con-sidered rather unique, because it includes all secular choral opuses a cappella, even those, which either had never been published, or hadn’t been edited since the pre-revolution time.
Every issue is opened by the preface narrating about this or that composer’s creative peculiarities. Combined in one whole and disposed according to the chronology, these essays may be accepted as one of the parts from the lectures of the “History of the Russian Choir Music”. Every issue contains the supplements, where the lyrics are adduced originally without any cuts.
Every issue is provided with audio CD, where the Petersburg Chamber Choir conducted by Nikolai Kornev performs the choruses published inside.
This is the first time that the edition of the Russian secular choir music is realized so voluminously. The compiler expresses gratitude to N. E. Vasilyeva, candidate of arts, N. D. Svetozarova, doctor of philology, and T. A. Kitanina, candidate of philology for the assistance during the preparation of this publication.

Antologija sostoit iz 20 vypuskov. Kazhdyj vypusk posvjaschen tvorchestvu odnogo iz tekh kompozitorov, kotorye sygrali naibolee vazhnuju rol v stanovlenii i razvitii russkoj khorovoj muzyki. Unikalnost izdanija sostoit v tom, chto v nem predstavleny vse svetskie khorovye proizvedenija a sarrella etikh kompozitorov, vkljuchaja te, kotorye ne pereizdavalis s dorevoljutsionnykh vremen ili ne izdavalis vovse.
Kazhdyj vypusk otkryvaetsja vstupitelnoj statej, v kotoroj rasskazyvaetsja ob osobennostjakh khorovogo tvorchestva kompozitora. V sovokupnosti eti ocherki, raspolozhennye v khronologicheskom porjadke, sostavljajut odin iz razdelov kursa lektsij po predmetu "Istorija russkoj khorovoj muzyki".
