Guitar is а special instrument, for sometimes the well-done music gets withered, sounding ugly and impoverished, though the guitarist is not guilty, unable to influence the process. Such cases wholly depend on the arrangers. However, sometimes the written transcriptions seems to augur ill of their success, while the guitar itself demonstrates their aesthetic validity.
As to Vyacheslav Komarov, his collection, everything is all right with it. His guitar plays wonderfully in all the styles — from tango of the thirties to variety rhythms of the sixties-seventies.
