Mikhail Trykov was born in Kostroma, Russia, in 1970 and started writing music in the spring of 1982 when he was only eleven. In 1985-1989 he completed a full course of study at the Music Theory Department of Kostroma School of Music, also attending a supplementary music composing class of Vladimir M. Perfilyev and writing more than twenty original pieces for the piano as well as the Pictures of the Old City of Kostroma Suite, two songs based on poems by the famous Russian author Fyodor Tyutchev, and the Spring Suite for the piano.
In 1992 Mikhail Trykov entered M. Glinka Conservatory of Music in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, and joined the music composition class of Professor Аrkady А. Nesterov. During his time in the Conservatory Mikhail wrote a number of preludes, twelve tone compositions, romances based on poems by H. W. Longfellow, choral pieces on Biblical themes ("Matins" and "The Last Supper"), a quartet for woodwind instruments, choral pieces based on poems by Mikhail Lermontov and Mikhail Lomonosov, and a monolog for bass "Quiet Is My Voice." As his graduation composition he presented the Russian Overture, performed in 1997 by the Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic orchestra with its music director Аlexander Skulsky conducting.
In 2002-2005 Mikhail Trykov completed the post-graduate program at P. I. Tchaikovsky State Conservatory of Music in Moscow, studying in the music composition class of Professor Тatyana Chudova and writing several series of romances based on poetry by outstanding Russian authors Fyodor Tyutchev, Sergei Esenin, Vasiliy Zhukovsky, and Аleksei Тolstoy, as well as a number of twelve tone compositions, a piano toccata, the Bhairava Quartet for two violins, viola and cello, his First Symphony "The Tale of the Moo Country", and several pieces for an opera based on Mikhail Lermontov's "Ballad of Merchant Kalashnikov".
At the present time Mikhail works as an accompanist at N. Nekrasov State University in Kostroma, Russia.

Михаил Трыков родился в 1970 году в Костроме. Сочинять музыку начал в 11 лет. В 1985-1989 годах учился в Костромском музыкальном училище на теоретическом отделении; факультативно занимался композицией у В. М. Перфильева. В этот период написано более 20 пьес для фортепиано, сюита "Картинки старой Костромы", два романса на стихи Ф. И. Тютчева и "Весенняя сюита" для фортепиано.
В 1989-1992 годах учился в Костромском педагогическом институте им. Н. А. Некрасова на музыкально-педагогическом факультете. В 1992 году поступил в Нижегородскую консерваторию им. М. И. Глинки, где обучался по классу композиции у А. А. Нестерова. За годы обучения в консерватории написаны: прелюдии, пьесы в серийной технике, романсы на стихи Г. У. Лонгфелло, хоры на канонический текст: "Утреня" и "Вечеря", квартет для деревянных духовых инструментов, хоры на стихи М. Ю. Лермонтова и М. В. Ломоносова, монолог для баса "Мой голос тих". Дипломным сочинением М. Трыкова стала "Русская увертюра" для симфонического оркестра, которая была исполнена в 1997 году в Нижегородской филармонии оркестром под управлением А. Скульского.
В 2002-2005 годах учился в аспирантуре Московской государственной консерватории им. П. И. Чайковского по классу композиции у профессора Т. А. Чудовой. В этот период написаны циклы романсов на стихи Ф. И. Тютчева, С. А. Есенина, В. А. Жуковского, пьесы и прелюдии для фортепиано, Toccata для фортепиано, "Бхайрава-квартет" для двух скрипок, альта и виолончели, Первая симфония "Сказ о стране Му", наброски оперы "Баллада об удалом купце Калашникове".
В настоящее время Михаил Трыков работает концертмейстером в Костромском университете им. Н. А. Некрасова.

Lomonosova, monolog dlja basa "Moj golos tikh". Diplomnym sochineniem M. Trykova stala "Russkaja uvertjura" dlja simfonicheskogo orkestra, kotoraja byla ispolnena v 1997 godu v Nizhegorodskoj filarmonii orkestrom pod upravleniem A. Skulskogo.
V 2002-2005 godakh uchilsja v aspiranture Moskovskoj gosudarstvennoj konservatorii im. P. I. Chajkovskogo po klassu kompozitsii u professora T. A. Chudovoj. V etot period napisany tsikly romansov na stikhi F. I. Tjutcheva, S. A. Esenina, V. A. Zhukovskogo, pesy i preljudii dlja fortepiano, Toccata dlja fortepiano, "Bkhajrava-kvartet" dlja dvukh skripok, alta i violoncheli, Pervaja simfonija "Skaz o strane Mu", nabroski opery "Ballada ob udalom kuptse Kalashnikove".
V nastojaschee vremja Mikhail Trykov rabotaet kontsertmejsterom v Kostromskom universitete im. N. A. Nekrasova.
