The "Dialog" manual (elementary level) is suitable for older adolescent and adult learners who seek proficiency in Russian that corresponds to the A1 stage, as determined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). A learner normally reaches this stage after 80-120 academic hours of learning.
