A new Russian Grammar course, bringing together the grammar points from all three levels of the Ruslan Russian course and with additional material.
Compiled by John Langran, Ruslan Limited.
General Editor Ashot Vardanyan, University of Iowa.
Clear explanations in simple English, with lots of examples from contemporary Russian. A large number of photos and other illustrations to help you memorise useful words and phrases. Recorded examples from poetry and songs.
The explanations are followed by exercises to practise points as they are introduced, plus classroom activities for speaking, and suggestions for further work.
256 pages, A4, in full colour, including an audio CD with recordings of many of the exercise answers and recordings of all the songs and poems.
There are 95 sections, including declension and conjugation tables (400 plus verbs), a pronunciation guide, and a Russian and an English index.
The key to the exercises is in the Ruslan teacher pages, and there are MP3 files with more supporting sound - follow the links.
Teachers who want to use photocopies of the Ruslan Russian Grammar with their groups should check the Licensing page.
British English is used, but an attempt has been made to avoid expressions that might confuse speakers of American English.
Publication - November 8th 2010.
