The St. Petersburg Music Publishing House "Composer" issue of the series "The Pianist's Golden Repertoire" has for an object the satisfaction of the growing demand of musicians for the best world piano literature specimens. A pianist - a pupil, a student, a teacher, a performer - should have in his disposal such musical works.
This issue is a part of the undertaking selected piano works edition of the well-known Russian composer Sergei SLONIMSKY (born 1932). In five volumes of this edition are presented his most popular works for a piano solo and for a piano for four hands.
