James Joyce (1882-1941) was an Irish novelist, short story writer, and poet. This volume includes the only extant play in three acts by the great writer "Exiles". There are obvious parallels to be drawn with Joyce's own life. However, "Exiles" is by no means straightforwardly autobiographical.
